In case you were counting, that's 36 fixed bugs (including the two that aren't applicable anymore). That gives Apple an overall fix rate of 48%, 36% if you don't count the already-fixed bugs, and 42% if you exclude the already-fixed bugs and the app-only bugs for iTunes and Remote Desktop. Is that a good fix rate for a major release? Not sure, but it's definitely a welcome improvement from the incremental 10.4.x updates. (I'm again going through and updating all these bugs with their status in 10.5, so they'll get bumped and maybe get fixed in 10.5.1.)

I've also filed three new bugs, because I want Apple to start fixing them for 10.5.x updates ASAP:

CXIX: Dock stack previews for app aliases sometimes display a generic icon plus a monochromatic "do not enter" sign superimposed on top of them, when the app absolutely does run on that architecture, and I can even launch it by clicking on the generic app icon. Filed: 5564739.

CXX: The crosshair when taking selective screenshots (Command-Shift-4) exhibits a crapload of flicker. Filed: 5564758.

CXXI: If you uncheck all the boxes under "Devices" in the Sidebar section of the Finder preferences, nothing will ever show up in the "Devices" subsection of the sidebar in Finder windows. However, the subsection header that says "DEVICES" will remain, even though it's completely useless. Bonus: the disclosure triangle also remains, and is also useless. Filed: 5564797.
